After spending 8 years in the little red dot, I fell in love with the gorgeous architecture of the Singapore Shophouses and the Heritage districts that tell the story of Singapore's trading position.
The Shophouses were originally the live/work units of the Peranakan (Chinese-Malay) settlers who brought spices from the Orient into Singapore via the Singapore River.
