When it comes to social media, Instagram is one of my favourite platforms because it’s all about the visuals, which is definitely important for an artist! I use Instagram as a daily artist’s diary to share what’s going on in my studio, what inspires me, and the progression of my paintings from sketch to finished product.

One of Singapore’s most impressive religious monuments that has always caught my attention and admiration is the Sultan Mosque set in the heart of Kampong Glam. Just before I left Singapore to return to the UK, I attended a Bollywood Charity event in Little India that reminded me of how much I love this colourful and captivating neighbourhood. Although there is always something to see in this vibrant part of the city, Deepavali is a particularly wonderful time to visit.

Sure there is definitely something to be said about eating inexpensively at Singapore’s amazing street hawker stalls, but a visit to the Lion City wouldn’t be complete without splashing out at least once on a divine brunch, lunch or dinner at one of the many gorgeous gourmet restaurants around town.
