This piece captures the layered vibrancy of Chinatown in Singapore - a district where colour, culture and ritual intertwine.
Painted Shophouses in red and cream stand beneath lantern lined streets, while market stalls glow with jewel -toned sweets and intricate trinkets. The aroma of street food along Jalan Makanan lingers in the air, adding warmth and movement to the scene.
At its heart rises the Buddha Tooth Relic temple, built in the Tang Dynasty Style crowned with a larhe prayer wheel- a place of reflection amid the energy. During Lunar New Year, Dragon and Lion dances animate the streets, inviting prosperity and renewal.
