I’m absolutely loving creating a new series of vibrant expressionistic #smallworks on canvas called ‘The Healing Garden’ 💚🌸
These pieces I’m working in a painterly semi abstract style as my direction is towards the emotive human experience around being in nature, immersing in beautiful gardens and the healing power of plants. Plants are Amazing !!!
The palette is important each colour picked for its frequency to which I seem to be in tune with and I just love working with colour.
A riot of pinks reds and orange with the calming green of bamboo.
I want the viewer to have an emotional response, that’s really what art is about to stir something inside of you to resonate with with the energy of living things.

The Artist Support Pledge is a culture of kindness and community started in lockdown. 👩🎨🎨
Since I participated last year and sold so many paintings for #artistsupportpledge the founder Matthew Burrows has been awarded an MBE for his cool idea and there’s talk of the initiative being up for ‘The Turner Prize’. For me personally it inspired a huge collection of new paintings - first of English Flowers and now this series on The Healing Garden which I am LOVING creating 💗
