Richmond Park - Original Painting

£3,900.00 GBP

'I have always loved Richmond Park, having lived near the Kingston Gate entrance to the park as a Fine Art Student at Kingston University and later returning to Kingston to live there as a new mother. I have always had an affinity with the park.

I love it when I spot one or more of the stags, it is always such a treat to see their magnificent antlers and their majestic presence. When I decided Richmond Park was going to be one of my London Landmarks, I chose to focus on the Red Deer Stags and the Autumn Season as it's when the wild Stags are more prominent due to the breeding season. Their distinctive call can be heard throughout the Park's wide open grasslands that lie just a stones throw from central London' - Clare

Richmond Park in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames was created by Charles I in the 17th Century as a deer park. The largest of London's Royal Parks, it is of national and international importance for wildlife conservation.

The park is also a top UK site for ancient trees and the Autumn months find the park enveloped in a warm earthy palette of reds, oranges and greens.
