I have always been drawn to the silent language of horses - the way their energy can be felt before it is seen. In this piece, the elongated and still profile hold a sense of contained movement as if the horse is listening as much as standing.

There is power and sensitivity. Alertness without tension. Strength grounded in instinct.

Part of my equestrian series this work is more a quiet recognition of the horses spirit - the presence, grace and unspoken connection that first captivated me as a child.
